2019 YMCA Dream House

This years Modern Farm House showcased all Hunter Douglas products, many powered and programmed to a smart device.  The soft treatments were created by our workroom.  The home office featured stationary panels on rods with French returns over Provenance Woven Wood shades.


Silk "Jackson" valance with contrasting pleats over Powerview Silhouette shades.


Cordless Sonnette shade.


Simple Designer Roman shades are perfect for a laundry room.


Power View Luminette vertical sheers married with a coordinating Solera shade.  Hunter Douglas makes it easy to mix products in a room for different functions.


Power View Solera shades are a mix of pleated and soft roman shade in one.


The master bedroom with Power View Luminette vertical sheers and Silhouettes.


Box pleated valance over cordless Duette cellular shades.


The boys room featured traditional Parkland wood horizontal blinds with decorative tapes.


Designer Banded shades.


Sonette are a new take on rollers that are softer and offer insulating values like a pleated shade.


The lower level featuring a unique application of Palm Beach shutters where back lighting and wallpaper create the illusion of windows.

2018 YMCA Dream House

Inspiration for this library came in the form of a linen print drapery fabric from Anna French.  It nailed the chosen color palette for this years house and played right into the rustic glam look.  Hunter Douglas Provenance Woven Wood shades provide great texture and privacy.

A rustic oiled wood ceiling with a Murray Feiss stone chandelier.  LED light is integrated into the metal rings for 36" of "oooo" and "ahhh".

Rock, paper, scissors!  AND sumptuous velvets.


One last look at how these textures play together.  A shimmery velvet pillow with micro brushed fringe (because fringe is baaaack), linen chair, nail heads, more linen and woven woods.  Great composition!

For the Lov​e of COLOR!

What can we say...we just love Thibaut but sometimes it's hard to work into the budget.  The white sofa needed some personality so we backed this amazing orange Thibaut embroidered fabric with a much less expensive green velvet and voila!  More color with a Surya rug and accessories.

PARKER HOME MASTER BATHROOM

This jewel box of a room is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and decompress with some music.  We love the chandelier that doubles as a sculpture and light source.

Lower Level Living

Envy is a lower level full walk-out!  This was literally building a small house within a house and making the coolest hangout for this family's teens to entertain.

Seating at a bar behind the sectional for a snack while watching a movie or doing homework (while watching a movie).  Luxury vinyl plank flooring and a wood accent media wall are practical and cozy up this huge space.

Pizza party, board games on a forgiving zinc top table.  Leather seats so we won't worry too much about messy kids.  Economical faux wood shutters on the window are easy to live with too.

This seriously cool pool table was the home owners find!  It makes us think of the bridges in Cleveland.  That's a Surya rug and embroidered stationary panels with Hunter Douglas Solera shades on the window.

We like to use these short rods for wide windows.  It's a much better look than a long rod stretching all the way across.  Hunter Douglas Solera shades are a hybrid of romans and large cellular shades.  Multiple textures and colors are available and pricing is modest compared to traditional romans.

Master Suite

Blue looks good on you.  So serene, so comforting.  A great place to decompress at the end of the day and a happy place to wake up to.  Hunter Douglas Vignette Romans provide all the privacy and the ribbon fabric is shown in two styles - you do not have to have all the windows the same.  Rather than use matching shams we accented with pillows made from Thibaut fabric.  On the floor is a nubby sisal rug by Surya.
